OK, read all the threads about this. I picked up a used 2019 Vulcan 900 last fall. It's really smooth up to about 60 mph. At 70 the vibration is significant on the floor boards (classic LT). I have watched all the youtube riders I can find and none of the bikes seem like it's a problem like I have. One note on this bike, if I have my info correct this bike was built in Lincoln, NE., the U.S.A., I was surprised to learn that.The Suzuki has no tachometer, but it feels like it revs out to about 5000 rpm before signing off, while the heavier-by-50-lbs fully loaded Kawasaki's tach shows the redline at 8500 rpm. I had a 1982 GS750TZ for many years, and it would really fly, but the 2006 Suzuki 800 feels like it really flies, too.

There was an 1100cc big bore kit installed by the dealer when the bike was purchased by the original owner (or so he says). I have owned my VN800 for about 5 years and never had a problem that I didn't create myself. Your valves could become damaged if you never check the clearance/redo the shims on them. Or maybe you like to rev it up loud before the engine is warm. That would eventually bend a valve.Check for oil around the spark plug cavity and then explore this further. On the 1500, the service manul says a special tool is need to pull the spark plug tubes, but you can fashion a tool out of the rear axle nut and unscrew the tube. I'd bet the 800 is similar. Hope this helps or gets you going in the right direction.

It is very likely the receiver in the hub thats bent from misalignment, this will have to be fixed to make the speedo cable spin. A quick check is to remove the cable from the hub and spin with your fingers while looking for movement on the speedo needle. If it moves, your problem is in the hub.
