The tipping point where it starts outdamaging the normal Rapier is about 40 Dex. The other factor to think about is the strong attack. On the normal Rapier you get either a stronger thrust when 2 handed or a pretty ... So Ricards has the best dex scaling but medium base dmg, while the Espada has great dex scaling as well and higher base dmg. I honestly don't know at which point the scaling of Ricards outclasses the Espada. I would advice Ricards anyway, because I don't like that the on handed Strong attack of the Espade is a parry.
