Earlier gen hose required 5/8" hose it seems while the L5P uses 7/8" id. I chose not to use the stock short section as the hose I used is very good quality and retains its form.

I didn’t see any real changes in range but then again it is my first diesel. It gets 30mpg on the highway at 65mph so I guess if it regens for 7% of the time then it will probably drop to 27 to 28 mpg.
